The KhoiKhoi

Originating on the southwestern tip of Africa, the Khoikhoi tribe, also called "Hottentots" by white settlers, migrated between present-day Namibia, South Africa and Botswana. Rich in culture, religion and the ability to cultivate crops, the Khoikhoi developed a strikingly complex political structure. Without warning, however, Europeans soon tarnished the legacy of the Khoikhoi tribe, subjecting the structure of their existence to endless degradation.
